Coral Springs, Florida
Sydel's first Little Library has been installed at her home in Coral Springs, Florida. Designed by her friend and neighbor Rhonda, the library showcases a charming pineapple motif, echoing the many pineapple designs throughout Sydel's home. Wilton Manors, Florida
Sydel's second Little Library is located in Wilton Manors, Florida. Hosted by family friend Jennifer Gomez, the library was installed as a tribute to Jennifer’s mother who previously hung plastic bags with books from her fence during the pandemic. Ethan, Keith, and Jennifer visited the library before participating an the Hope Floats charity event benefiting a non-profit called Tomorrow’s Rainbow that provides meaningful services to children who have lost a parent. Sydel’s spirit of giving back to children lives on through Jennifer’s passion for service and generosity in hosting this impactful library. This library was located at 90 NE 21st Ct. Wilton Manors, Florida 33305, but is in the process of being relocated to Palm Beach.
North Miami, Florida
Sydel's third Little Library is located at the historic Biscayne Gardens Civic Association in North Miami, Florida. Hosted by Ethan’s longtime friend Maria Perilli, the library was installed in a community center designed to enrich the lives of children and adults alike in one of Miami’s under-served communities. Maria beautifully designed the library featuring a flower motif while Ethan and a team of volunteers joined her to build a small community garden around it. Bend, Oregon
Sydel’s fourth Little Library was installed at The Haven Coworking in Bend, Oregon—a community workspace dedicated to fostering collaboration and inclusion. The Haven created its own Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Library to promote learning and awareness within its community. Together with former Executive Director Tiffany White, Ethan installed Sydel’s Little Library inside the coworking space to further support an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members. Indian Pueblo Cultural Center -
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Sydel’s fifth Little Library was installed at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ethan began volunteering with the Cultural Center in 2024, and the installation was coordinated by IPCC’s Volunteer Coordinator, Rosabelle Marie. The library—beautifully painted by Alex Mariano—was unveiled in October 2025 during a special Pueblo Story Time hosted by Carol Chorniak and Magda Belardo-Lerch, where Ethan read “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss. Native American Community Academy, Elementary School
Sydel’s sixth Little Library was installed at NACA Elementary School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Facilitated by NACA’s Director of Community Engagement, Tirzah Toya-Waconda, the library was created to inspire Native American children to dream boldly and believe in their potential. Beautifully painted with pueblo motifs by artist Alex Mariano, this library continues Sydel’s spirit of mentorship and encouragement, fostering curiosity and hope in young readers. Alongside fellow IPCC volunteers Rosabelle, Carol, and Alex, Ethan read Oh, the Places You’ll Go! to kindergarten through fifth-grade students and each child was gifted their own copy of the book.You can visit this Little Library at 1000 Indian School Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104.
YMCA - Española, New Mexico
Sydel’s seventh Little Library was installed at the YMCA in Española, New Mexico. Ethan partnered with Executive Director Ben Sandoval to support the YMCA’s mission of creating a safe space for teens while providing access to educational and recreational resources. The library—creatively designed by teens at the center—was unveiled in October 2025 during a special ceremony where Ethan read Oh, the Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss and distributed copies of the book, backpacks, and sporting equipment donated by his friends Rosabelle Marie and the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Chimayo Rocks, Española
Sydel’s eighth Little Library is proudly featured at Chimayo Rocks in Española, New Mexico. Hosted by proprietor Tilly Nichols and her colleague Andrew Herrera, this incredibly special installation served as a dedication to lost loved ones and reflected Tilly and Andrew’s mission to create a welcoming and inspiring space for children and community members of all ages. The library was beautifully painted by artist Dani Bustos in loving memory of her late sister and cherished community member, Nikki Bustos. The unveiling celebration brought together stories from Tilly, Dani, and Ethan—honoring inclusion, remembrance, and the importance of always pursuing your dreams.
